- I am a child of God, a wife of 20 years, a homeschooling mom of 6 wonderful children, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. My family moved last year 500 miles away from home where we had a wonderful life with family, friends, and church family. We are trying to find our way and settle down in our new home. I keep looking for a new normal, but God has a sense of humor, and I am not sure it exists. I started this blog as a way to let our family and friends at home know a little about what we are up to in our new place, but it has become a scrapbook for me of our life and what the kids have been up to.

You hit the nail on the head. Nothing ever goes quite as planned but then if it did I wouldn't get to see the amazing way God fixes everything up for us. And it always gives us something to blog about. LOL!
