  3. Thanks for your kind and reassuring words, Amy. It is frustrating beacause my kids haven't been able to go to school. We're kind of homeschooling via the internet and I'm having them do some writing while we wait on the strike.

My new job is going well. I'll be a sub until the 18th at this school. I'm looking for something for the next week, but nothing has shown up on the internet yet. Nothing from now until December. I think I'd like the long term jobs, but I'll take anything right now.

Looks like you are well underway with schooling. The curriculum looks really good. I've heard of or used most of them.

I like the ones that bring God into every lesson. Science is so neat knowing that God created it all. I love teaching creation verses evolution.

The Awana Bible study looks interesting. I hadn't used that one. We do go to Awana every week during the school year.

    have a great year,
    Nannette

  4. We have a lot in common, Amy. We are also using Sonlight and we also go to CBS. It's fun to find like-minded individuals in the blogging community!

  5. We really liked the Read, Draw, Write when my girls were younger.

I just wanted to stop by and let you know we are thinking of you... even if I have not had opportunity to stop by... still trying to catch up and I leave again in a few days. I hope the school year is progressing as you planned and look forward to catching up on your posts... someday.
