- I am a child of God, a wife of 20 years, a homeschooling mom of 6 wonderful children, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. My family moved last year 500 miles away from home where we had a wonderful life with family, friends, and church family. We are trying to find our way and settle down in our new home. I keep looking for a new normal, but God has a sense of humor, and I am not sure it exists. I started this blog as a way to let our family and friends at home know a little about what we are up to in our new place, but it has become a scrapbook for me of our life and what the kids have been up to.
