New pictures

When Han was just a baby, I started taking him to get his picture taken at the studio. We were very poor, but these pictures were so important to me. I always had a coupon, and bought the cheapest package I could. I have kept this up with all the kids. One year we just couldn't afford it, and I still regret no pictures from that year! Since we homeschool and don't have school pictures taken, I get all the kids pictures taken around their birthdays. That means summer is a big rush with 5 birthdays, and then Luke's pictures get taken with the Christmas pictures. I truly love these pictures and can't wait to get them back. I took the three youngest in recently, and here are a few of their pictures.

  2. Amy,

These are all beautiful. But the one with the football helmet is my favorite. We are real foot ball fans.

I always try to take my kids on their birthdays, ever since they were babies. The studio where I used to go was bought out and I've not been happy with their work. I was getting ready to try my hand at my own when my friend Susan stepped in. Am I glad she did. So much better than I could of done...in fact probably the best photos I've ever seen of the kids.

Your family is so beautiful and getting bigger by the post. I can't believe how much they have grown since I started reading your blog.

Are you all back to school yet or are you enjoying a little more summer?

  3. What nice pictures. The kids look so cute!

I took my own pictures every fall or I went to Wall Mart and got the real cheap pkg.

I've been happy that I took those pictures. I try to take the kids to a park or at least have them lean on a tree or something.

I love pictures and I used to spend a lot of time and money dropping off & picking up sets of pictures.

Now they sit on CD's waiting to be developed. I just don't want to spend the money now. I select the ones I want and develop them.

Loved your pictures and thanks for dropping by and catching up with me.

  4. My comments were so long I decided to just make a new one.

Your doll cake story cracked me up. I can't believe you kept it.

Having your boys experienced and safe with knives is a good thing.

Those Tony perms basically fried our hair. We always had some frizzy spots and some curly spots.

My mom is doing good. Thanks for your kind words. God bless you and yours.
