For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
I'm doing it, too. I'm so glad we're in it together!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that both of you are in. it will be fast and furious and yet still incredibly amazing! Welcome!!
ReplyDeleteI have read the Bible through many times over. I try to complete it each year. We approach it differently each year. In 2009 we read the Reese Chronological Bible. Once it was suggested that we should take three years to read the Bible from beginning to end, reading only one chapter a day so that you focus more on it. I didn't really like that. My husband offers different challenges to the kids to encourage them to really dig in to God's word for themselves. One year it was a hundred dollars each if they read their Bible every day and finished the whole Bible by the end of the year. Even Emma, who was a beginning reader, stuck with it. I don't know who was more excited on New Year's Eve, me or them. Isn't is wonderful that, unlike any other book, the more you read the more you learn and the more you love it? I am always surprised to find things that I never noticed before.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in your challenge. I look forward to seeing how it comes out.
